Beckie has 30 years of extensive experience in managing policy advocacy, campaigning, and building capacity in the areas of sustainable development and human rights.
She has also led advocacy programs and initiatives on:
economic justice issues such as debt, trade and aid
poverty, inequality and climate change
transparency, accountability and people’s participation
electoral and political reform and election observation and monitoring
voter education, and
appropriate technologies for sustainable development.
She has extensive expertise in development management as demonstrated by her solid local and national level experience in managing field-level sustainable development programmes, training and education, and workshop and conference management and facilitation.
