Through the initiatives of Mr. Roberto Verzola, PRRM adviser on sustainable technologies, and Mr. Joselito Gonzales, PRRM movement building coordinator, the PRRM National Office Urban Agriculture Project was launched on July 18 at the PRRM national headquarters. The project, which is part of PRRM’s advocacy to promote sustainable agriculture, aims at ‘greening’ the National Office premises by planting vegetables in every available piece of land and even on pots. It aims to encourage the staff to grow their food and showcase urban agriculture to other urban-based organizations and local government units. A short program and ceremonial planting were attended by officers, staff, and leaders of partner people’s organizations.
