PRRM's new Board of Trustees, Trustees Emeritus, and Council of Advisers

On July 17, 2009, a new Board of Trustees to serve for the term 2009-2012 has been formed by the PRRM National Council. The new Board is composed of Former Senator Wigberto E. Tanada, Mr. Edicio G. dela Torre, Mr. Isagani R. Serrano, Mr. George K. Sanchez, Dr. Amelou Benitez-Reyes, Mr. Librado B. Abesamis, Mr. Ronald Allan A. Barnacha, Mr. Raul Roi B. Borejon, Alaminos City Mayor Hernani A. Braganza, Dr. Lorenzo C. Lapitan, Jr., Mr. Horacio R. Morales, Jr., Ms. Ana Maria R. Nemenzo, Mr. Marlon P. Palomo, Ms. Mary Racelis, and Mr. Joselito A. Tambalo.

On July 24, 2009, the new Board elected Former Senator Tañada as chairperson, Mr. Dela Torre as vice-chairperson, Mr. Sanchez as Secretary, and Dr. Benitez-Reyes as Treasurer. In the same meeting, The Board conferred the title Vice Chairperson Emeritus on former PRRM trustee Vicente R. Jayme, and the title Trustee-Treasurer Emeritus on former PRRM treasurer Luis L. Garcia in recognition of their valuable contributions to the Movement. Ms. Helena Z Benitez has been named Chairperson Emeritus in 2007.

Former PRRM President Conrado S. Navarro was also elected by the Board to the PRRM Council of Advisers, of which Mr. Randolph S. David, Dr. Cielito F. Habito, Mr. Oscar M. Lopez, Mr. Jose Z. Molano, Jr.,Hon. Jesse M. Robredo, Dr. Sixto K. Roxas, Mr. Washington C. Sycip are also members.
