The Philippine Rural Reconstruction Movement (PRRM) staged a photo exhibit at the Philippine Women’s University (PWU) in Taft Ave., Manila from June 22 to July 5, 2012.
Launched in June 14, 2012, at the PRRM Building in Quezon City, the photo exhibit entitled “PRRM Story: Texts and Images” captures in text and images the “60 years of PRRM’s struggle against poverty, ignorance, disease and civic inertia”.
PRRM Chairperson Emeritus and PWU Chairperson Sen. Helena Z Benitez opened the exhibit together with PWU President Dr. Francisco Benitez, other school officials and guests. The opening of the exhibit was in consonance with a musicale tribute for Madam Helena Benitez’s 98th birthday celebration.
