“The PRRM story is spiral. You’ll never know how and when it will end.”
Thus said PRRM President Isagani R. Serrano during the launching of the PRRM 60th Anniversary Photo Exhibit last June 14, 2012, at the PRRM National Headquarters in Quezon City.

The photo exhibit is one of the major events celebrating PRRM’s 60th year anniversary, which will culminate on July 17, PRRMs founding date. The exhibit captures in text and images the “60 years of PRRM’s struggle against poverty, ignorance, disease and civic inertia”.
Also present during the launching was PRRM Chairperson Emeritus Sen. Helena Z Benitez. She spoke on the industry of the Filipinos, an edge we have over other nations. The occasion was also graced by PRRM pioneer rural reconstruction workers (RRWs), among them Ms. Luciana Arandia-Alejandrino, who spoke on their behalf, and shared her experiences as an RRW in the 1950s. She underscored the dedication of RRWs who, despite the difficulties and risks to life and limb, continued serving the underprivileged in the barrios. Ms. Rebecca G. Miranda, president of the women federation, DALUYONG, shared how PRRM helped mold her as a leader.
