Coastal Clean Up

Coastal Clean UpLast 15 September 2007, members of the Conrado Benitez Institute of Sustainability (CBIS) led by VP Isagani R. Serrano plunged their feet in the dirty waters of Manila Bay in observance of the International Coastal Clean-Up activity. Also present were PRRM Bataan Chapter members led by Orion Vice-Mayor Virgilio Isidro, Trustee Emmanuel Gloria, and provincial manager Crispin Tria.

The CBIS-PRRM contingent joined hundeds of clean-up volunteers from the municipality of Orion, Bataan. Municipal officials and employees led by Mayor Antonio Raymundo, students from the different schools, and residents of coastal barangays took part in the annual clean up drive. Hundreds of sacks of waste and debris were gathered by the volunteers.
