School of Rural Reconstruction and Sustainable Development (SRRSD)

The School of Rural Reconstruction and Sustainable Development (SRRSD) offers undergraduate, graduate, diploma and certificate courses in rural reconstruction and sustainable development. SRRSD’s target clientele are NGO and other development workers, local government executives and staff, leaders of people’s organizations, and other interested individuals.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Plans and sets goals of the educational and administrative programs of SRRSD and supervises and ensures that students, teachers and staff follow the guidelines and the activity plans of SRRSD.
  • Consolidates and submits budget proposals and financial reports, and SRRSD activity plans and reports; administers SRRSD funds in accordance with approved budget; and ensures proper recordkeeping.
  • Develops and coordinates the academic and student programs of SRRSD, coordinates the enrollment process, monitors and documents students’ educational progress, manages guidance and other student services, and handles relations with prospective and current students, teachers and staff.
  • Manages the daily operations of SRRSD.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Preferably with relevant education and work experience in School Administration and Management.
  • Minimum requirements include a master’s degree in school administration and management or related field OR a bachelor’s degree and hands-on experience in school administration or education and training management.
