Ronald Allan A. Barnacha

A bona fide resident of Bayombong, Nueva Vizcaya. He served the local government unit of the Municipality of Bayombong for six years as a vice mayor and as municipal councilor from 2001 to 2007. He was also a former associate professor of PLT College for eight years from 1997 to 2005.

He graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Philosophy (PhB) Minor in Sociology and Psychology at San Pablo Major Seminary, School of Philosophy, Northern Luzon Regional Seminary in Baguio City in 1991. He took Masters Units Bachelor of Theology at San Carlos Royal and Pontifical Seminary at Makati City in 1992 and finished Masters in Spirituality of Unity at the Priests School for Asia at Tagaytay City in 1995.

At present, he serves as the provincial chairperson of the PRRM-Nueva Vizcaya Chapter. He is also the vice-chairperson of Novo Vizcayanos for Local Economy Development (NOVOLED) – a microfinance unit established in December of 2008. He is also an incorporator and vice-president for Nueva Vizcaya of Save the Valley, Serve the People, Alliance for the Environment – a non-government organization of environmental activists that has a primary aim to save Cagayan River, the longest and largest river.

He serves as the Advocacy Officer of PRRM-NV and represents the movement in different special bodies such as the NV Provincial and Regional Development Councils.
