Dennis R. Arpia

Vice-President, PRRM Quezon Province Chapter

Dennis is currently a technical consultant and the chief-of-staff of the Sangguniang Kabataan (SK) Provincial Federation of Presidents-Quezon. He is also the education and training director of a local radio station (92.7 Bay FM) in Lucena.

From January to May of 2004, he served as a technical assistant of the Vice Mayor of Lucena City, and, from July 2003 to January 2004, the Confidential Assistant III of the SK Federation of Presidents-Lucena. Prior to which, he worked as a legislative staff of the Sangguniang Panlungsod of Lucena from January 1999 to July 2003.

Before his stint at Bay FM Lucena, he worked as the editor-in-chief, and news and public affairs chief of the Daluyong TK MBC-Radio Natin Lucena from January 20120 to July 2003. He was also the program host/head writer of CBS Channel 8 (Siya si Manong Nick), commentator/political analyst for DWTI-AM, a columnist of Pacific Review, correspondent for Manila Times, and desk editor of Sunstar Batangas.

He was also involved in some local government projects. He was the administrative officer for the Governor’s Cup Inter-Town Basketball Tournament 2012 and the project coordinator/training officer for the Lucena TAKSI (Lucenahing Talino, Kasanayan at Sipag), a mobile technical training school of the City Government of Lucena and TESDA-Quezon.

He earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Accountancy, and a Bachelor of Science degree in Public Administration, in 1998 and 2009, respectively, from the Manuel S. Envarga University Foundation.
